Future of Crisis & Business Continuity Management Workshop

Non-exclusive

The rules of crisis management have changed.

Crisis and continuity professionals are navigating a landscape that bears little resemblance to the one their frameworks were designed for. Events no longer arrive one at a time. A geopolitical disruption triggers a supply chain failure that lands on top of an ongoing cyber incident — while the workforce is distributed, regulators are watching, and the board is asking questions that the function has never had to answer before.

At the same time, the expectations placed on crisis management and business continuity leaders are expanding rapidly. Boards want to understand financial exposure. CFOs want crisis risk expressed in the language of enterprise risk. Legal counsel wants governance structures that will hold up to scrutiny. And C-suites, shaped by the lived experience of the pandemic, are no longer willing to accept resilience on faith.

The ASIS Europe Future of Workshop brings together the organisations at the forefront of this shift — and the practitioners who are navigating it in real time.

Five themes. One room. No comfortable answers.

This year’s session explores the disciplines of crisis management and business continuity at an inflection point. Five sponsors, each with a distinct perspective, will share their vision for where the field is heading — before the audience breaks into focused discussion groups to stress-test those ideas against their own operational reality.

  • Crisis Intelligence & Early Warning: Seeing the crisis before it arrives — and getting the signal to the right people in time.
  • Governance, ERM & Board Communication: Connecting crisis preparedness to enterprise risk management, financial exposure quantification, and the boardroom conversation that can no longer be avoided.
  • Business Continuity Reimagined: Beyond the plan in a folder: what continuity looks like when single-site assumptions, just-in-time supply chains, and siloed functions no longer apply.
  • Crisis Operations & the New Collaborative Model: The technology, structures, and cross-functional relationships that make a modern crisis response actually work.
  • Leadership, Stress & Organisational Learning: How crisis leaders perform under real pressure — and how organisations build the institutional memory to perform better next time.

The format is designed for depth, not theatre.
Sponsors share a vision statement. A senior security buyer chairs the room. Three rounds of audience breakouts generate the questions practitioners rarely ask in public. Sponsors reconvene on stage to share what they heard. The audience gets the last word.

The result is a session where suppliers demonstrate genuine expertise and vision, buyers leave with frameworks and peer validation they can actually use, and the conversation continues long after the room clears.

This package includes exhibit space and a valuable data package to support post-session follow-up and continued relationship building.
