Hans Verdoodt is Chief Security Officer for the ENGIE group in Europe (excl. France) since 2022. Hans has more than 25 years of experience in security and technology management. He started as a project manager within Philips in the ‘90s and developed along his career additional risk, HSE and general management skills within multiple challenging environments. He has been providing solutions and projects in diamond mining, public events, industrial environments, and food industry. He has wide international experience in project management, risk management, security & safety technology, operations, insurance, H&S and facility management.

Orhan Topcu is an experienced professional in the security industry with a career spanning over 24 years. He began his career in the Ministry of Interior, where he held various government positions. He gained valuable international experience by participating in United Nations missions in Bosnia and Kosovo. Orhan's expertise lies in strategic analysis, risk assessments, ICT, disaster risk management, and security. He holds a degree in Strategic Analysis and Risk Assessments and has a strong track record of success in diverse working environments. Currently, he serves as the Middle East and Africa Regional Security Manager at Microsoft MEA HQ. Throughout his career, Orhan has been actively involved in disaster prevention and preparedness, regional cooperation on disaster risk reduction, and national emergency management. With his extensive knowledge and disciplined work capacity, he has made significant contributions to various projects and organizations in the security field. Orhan is known for his innovative thinking, adaptability, and ability to think outside the box.

Markus Epner is a seasoned crisis and security manager with more than 20 years of experience in major industry roles, including at Lufthansa and Boehringer Ingelheim. He studied Security & Crisis Management at the Police Administrative College in Schleswig-Holstein (Kiel) and began his career as one of the first officers in the Kommando Spezialkräfte, with deployments in the Bosnia and Kosovo wars.

During his time in aviation, he managed the evacuation of two flight crews from Mumbai during the terror attacks and later led the crisis response during the COVID-19 pandemic within the pharmaceutical industry.

Since 2022, he serves as Head of Academy at F24 AG, where he is responsible for designing and delivering advanced crisis-management training and simulation programmes.

Markus is known for bringing real-world crisis experience into corporate training: his leadership emphasises experiential learning, digital simulation and cultivating resilience across teams.

Steven Kenny has spent 18 years in the security sector in roles that have seen him take responsibility for key elements of mission critical, high-profile projects across different vertical markets. For the past ten years Steven has focused his attentions on how security technologies can best support business security strategies, whilst elevating the importance of cybersecurity and compliance for physical security practitioners. Steven’s current role sees him lead a team of Architect and Engineering managers across EMEA whilst supporting various industry associations and standards organisations.

As a volunteer, Steven holds a role as a board director for ASIS International UK chapter. Steven currently sits on the EMEA Advisor Council as the emerging technology lead for TiNYg.

Glenn Schoen (1963) is an American-Dutch security and crisis management advisor and owner and CEO of Boardroom@Crisis BV, based in the Netherlands. He has over 35 years’ international experience including prior work for Ernst & Young, G4S Risk Advisory, TranSecur and International Security Management, as well as lecturing parttime for 10 years at Georgetown University’s Continuing Studies program. In the course of his career he has served over 500 consulting/training and 250 analysis service clients, including corporations, international organizations, associations, family offices and select governments. Volunteer security and crisis management position include work for ASIS, the UN’s UNICRI, OSAC, and the White House. He lectured for 10 years at Georgetown University’s Continuing Studies program and regularly performs paid speeches and free commentary for the media (1500+ interviews). This includes over 100 appearances on CNN across the past 32 years.

Judy has been in the security industry for 20 years. She is currently Chief Growth Officer for Earnflex Ltd, a technology company providing fully compliant workers and the technology to be able to provide 24/7 compliance checks to end users.
Starting out in Reliance Security which gave her a grounding in all services from guarding to tech.She is passionate about delivering intelligent technology-driven solutions that challenge the status quo and give her clients a competitive edge whilst working with security guarding where training is a key element. Mykola Mikheiev serves on the ASIS Europe Board of Directors as Secretary/Treasurer and ex-chair of the ASIS Ukraine Chapter, leading security professionals through Europe's most challenging contemporary crisis since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022. With over 25 years of progressive experience spanning governmental service, international posting, and high-threat corporate security, he brings unique practical expertise in organizational resilience, personnel verification, and crisis management. His governmental career includes cross-border crime investigations, legal extraditions, diplomatic protection leadership, deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Balkan states, where he managed security operations in an active combat environment. He held a number of positions with intergovernmental organizations in addition to the national security sector. In the private sector, Mikheiev protected personnel and commodities for the gas and oil industries and maritime security. His corporate security expertise includes legal investigations, due diligence, compliance, and risk management. On February 24, 2022, Mikheiev drew on his Kabul evacuation experience to lead his office's evacuation to western Ukraine before returning to continue security operations under wartime conditions. This practical crisis leadership directly informs his current guidance of security professionals managing organizational continuity, personnel security, and insider threat detection during active conflict. Mikheiev holds a Master of Arts in International Studies (King's College London), Juris Doctor (Ukraine), and a UK Military Academy degree. He is board-certified by ASIS as CPP®, PSP, PCI;by ACFE as CFE;by PMI as PMP;and by ISACA as CISM. He is licensed to practice law in Ukraine and certified in adult education by the UK BTEC Pearson. Eric Davoine is the Group Head of Physical Security and Safety at AXA, a leading global insurance company. With a diverse professional background spanning over three decades, he brings a wealth of expertise to his current role. Eric's career began in the French Foreign Legion, where he honed his skills in security operations, risk management and leadership. He then transitioned to the private sector, working as a security instructor and later as a security manager in a business bank. In his current position at AXA, Eric oversees the company's physical security and safety measures across the world. He’s in charge of setting and improving the governance and providing the necessary advisory to all the companies within the Group.
He is also a member of the ASIS Europe chapters’ committee. Eric’s areas of expertise include leadership, security organization, risk assessment, and quality management. He’s also a university lecturer for close to a decade.

As Airbus’ Head of Physical Security, Craig Morton is responsible for the physical protection of over 65,000 employees, hundreds of aircraft and numerous sites worldwide including major manufacturing sites in France, Germany, Spain, UK, China, USA and Canada.

In addition he manages a team of 180 security experts world-wide and a portfolio of over 0.5BN€ in contracts covering security, fire & emergency response, guarding and intervention needs, as well as their associated systems and service.

As well as bringing digital innovation to the management of physical security operations, he created Airbus’ Corporate Critical Travel Watchtower and its Enterprise Crisis Management organisation. He found solutions to directly address the corporation’s “duty of care” obligations and to manage the most critical worldwide incidents impacting staff and operations around the globe.

He also has a proven track record in IT and digital domains, data governance, supplier management, regulatory compliance & operational responsibility across security, defense, export control and trade sanctions.

Hailing originally from Scotland, Morton is an autodidact in productive time management. When not in the office or with his family, he can be found on one of his epic 200+ kms cycling trips around his adopted country of France, often in the Pyrenees mountains, and often going uphill.

Vonda Greene likes a good challenge. Like when she joined the US Marine Corps at 18. Or started working in construction and managed a 50 million dollar project completing the project 8 months early and 11 million dollars under budget. Or when she applied her security and facility management background to building several sites from the ground up while integrating the latest security technology in the corporate ecosystem.

Now the Head of Physical Security for Airbus Americas, she is responsible for the security staff of combined internal employees and external contractors of 150 plus on 20 sites across the US. During her 20 years in the company she has implemented and overseen their cross-national
security programs and works with federal, state, and local authorities to implement standards and deploy security policies. During her tenure she has taken Airbus in the US from keys and paper badges to a globally integrated physical access and video surveillance system.

Protecting others has always been a driving force for Vonda. She prides herself on finding and introducing new technologies to streamline security operations and protecting the company’s assets, employees and installations. She is dedicated to protecting employees from workplace violence and one of the programs she has implemented and maintained is the self defense training conducted on all US sites. She is also a former OSHA compliance manager and maintains a role as Export Control Liaison.

Jean Nicolas Gauthier is the Siemens AG Regional Security Officer (RSO) for Europe, Central Asia and Israel (EUC) since January 2022. He is based in Vienna (Austria).

The former helicopter pilot in the Fleet Air Arm and ship’s commanding officer in the French Navy, Rear Admiral (Rtd) Jean Nicolas Gauthier is a chartered naval engineer, with a degree in aeronautics. He has got a strong operational, international, academic and team leading experience, managing multidisciplinary, military and civil, national or international teams during different appointments in France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Belgium.

After his full career in the Navy, he joined Siemens France in 2017 as their Security, Safety, Health and Environment officer, which gave him an excellent insight of the current rapid transformation of the industrial landscape, and the booming world of technological innovation.

From 2018 to 2021 he was Regional Security Officer for Western Europe and the Maghreb, based in the UK.

Since beginning of 2022 in Austria, he sees his RSO responsibilities as a business enabler, actively contributing to the protection of the Siemens people and assets. He is committed to support the Regional, Operational and Strategic Companies in planning and implementing their preventive security measures for critical projects, in building a resilient business continuity management system, and in training for/managing crises. Roger Hyldon is a former commissioned officer in the British Army (Parachute Regiment) with more than 15 years commercial security experience. The past seven years have been spent with OMV, where he is Deputy Head of OMV Group Security, responsible for protecting people, assets, information, and reputation across OMV sites globally, including a multitude of high and complex threat environments.

Aisling has a combined experience of over 20 years in the security and intelligence fields. Spending her early career years as a commissioned officer in the Irish Defence Forces, she moved to the corporate sector in 2017, taking up a role at Stripe in Dublin working on Threat and Protective Operations. Keen to develop and learn more core physical security skills, Aisling took the opportunity to join Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) business where she remained for over two years. In early 2022, Aisling rejoined Stripe and assumed the role of Threat & Protective Intelligence Lead within the Corporate Security Team. She is currently building out Threat & Workplace Violence mitigation, Protective Intelligence and Geopolitical Intelligence programs simultaneously. Prior to this role, Rishi disrupted the industry when he co-founded and served as CEO of CameraManager, one of the world’s first cloud-based video surveillance platforms. In 2013 CameraManager was acquired by Panasonic, where, as CEO of Panasonic Cloud Management Service Europe, he launched NuboCam, the world’s first 4G/LTE video surveillance camera. CameraManager was then acquired by Eagle Eye Networks in 2017.

Florian is the Director of AI Strategy and Managing Director in Vienna for Genetec. He co-founded KiwiSecurity in 2008, a company specialized in video analytics software by bridging security and privacy, which was later acquired by Genetec. He has a master's degree in Computer Graphics and Digital Image Processing from the Vienna University of Technology, as well as a PhD in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, Finland, for his work on privacy protection in video surveillance.

Sonia Neffati is Mastercard’s European Regional Security Officer, based in Waterloo, Belgium. She focuses on strengthening external cybersecurity partnerships, leading Central Bank resiliency efforts, and supporting the ECRC’s mission. Previously, Sonia served as Mastercard’s European Crisis Manager, overseeing some of the company’s most complex crisis responses. She brings deep expertise in business continuity, IT disaster recovery, and crisis management across the payments and financial sectors. Sonia holds a master’s degree in Marketing & International Business Negotiation and multiple certifications in business continuity and security. 

Derek Pillar is a regional security manager for Mastercard, focusing on physical and cyber security threats and is part of many working groups dedicated to strengthening public, private and regulatory collaboration and enhancing resiliency across Europe. Derek is also an active member of the UK’s Financial Sector Cyber Collaboration Centre (FSCCC) and is the Chair of the EMEA Cyber Threat Committee at the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (FS-ISAC) and holds the FS-ISAC Global Leaders Award for 2022. Prior to joining Mastercard in April 2017, Derek was a member of UK’s law enforcement, working in various roles in the Metropolitan Police and the National Crime Agency (NCA). After nearly 20 years, Derek’s law enforcement career concluded in the National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU), where he was a senior officer.

Simon is a security professional with a diverse background. Having started as an accounting clerk for small private companies, he joined the Assurance Services of a Big Four professional services firm. After an internal move to Risk Management and Compliance, he became a member of the security risk management team, where he first focused on Emergency Response and BCM before spending several years as Head of Security for multiple countries.

Today, he is with Swiss-based energy producer Axpo. As their Group Business Continuity Manager, he further develops the global BCM program and connects the dots between the various security disciplines.

Erwin has been a dedicated volunteer leader within ASIS International and has been a member for over 6+ years. He served in various impactful roles within the association on a local and global level, including Young Professionals Board Member and Certification Programs Board Member at his local chapter (Benelux Chapter 214), on a global level he joined the NextGen Community (formerly known as Young Professionals) as Secretary, Vice-Chair and later became Chair of the NextGen Community. Alongside his volunteer work, Erwin is a seasoned security professional with over half a decade of experience in the security field. Jamie joined Ahold Delhaize in 2021 as an external to support the team on Business Continuity. After a year Jamie took up the formal role as asset protection and Business Continuity Management Specialist. With a background in safety and security management and minor in psychology, Jamie has a broad expertise in both AP and BCM. With past experience in various industries at companies like Bosch Transmission Technology, Coca Cola and Prorail (Dutch Rail) he eventually kicked off his career at Ahold Delhaize.

With 400,000+ employee’s and over 7700 stores that serve up to 60million shoppers each week, Ahold Delhaize is one of the world’s largest food retail groups that is a leader in supermarkets, e-commerce and a company at the forefront of sustainable retailing. Within the global support office, Jamie is responsible for standardization and supports the great local brands in implementing groupwide standards. It is his goal to build a resilient group by protecting people, product, and processes to keep serving their customers, even in a crisis.

Lucas Perterer is Senior Expert Security Information & Assessment at OMV. In his role, he supports the business in identifying and analyzing relevant geopolitical and security developments. Gladis joined Standard Industries in February 2024 as Vice President of Global Security & Risk based out of New York City, New York. She also partners with Standard’s various operating companies to ensure security measures are implemented consistently across all organizations.

Prior to her current role, Gladis served as Vice President of Corporate Security for the Americas at Swiss Re and, before that, was responsible for North America Regional Security at Reckitt and BASF. She entered the security world in 2015 after developing extensive experience in other corporate governance functions such as legal and internal audit. Gladis is passionate about diversity and inclusion and serves as both an informal and formal mentor through ASIS, OSAC Women in Security, Girl Security, etc.

David has been at Healix since November 2015 and is responsible for the crisis, security and risk management teams based in London, Vancouver and Singapore. Eilidh joined Healix in 2015 as a Threat Analyst, progressing to Associate Consultant and is now a Regional Security Manager. She established and manages the Healix Global Security Operations Centre in Vancouver Canada, with oversight of three service lines: intelligence & tracking, operations and consultancy. Eilidh has been involved in a diverse range of assistance and crisis scenarios, including every security evacuation Healix has handled over the course of the department’s existence. She has also deployed overseas on numerous occasions to conduct training, intelligence gathering, evacuation planning and crisis management for high profile cases. Prior to Healix, Eilidh spent three years working in the development sector, working first in a research capacity in Palestine and Bolivia, before moving into risk analysis. A reserve soldier in her spare time, Eilidh is an Operator in the British Army’s Intelligence Corps, mobilising for six months on a counter-poaching operation, and routinely supporting government customers. Prior to Dataminr, Hugh was the Co-Founder and CEO of WatchKeeper, a real-time unified situational awareness platform to manage global physical security threats at scale, which was acquired by Dataminr in June 2021.

Hugh’s career in technology was preceded with 15 years in corporate security and crisis management, having worked for private security companies operating in high-threat environments and the largest financial institution in the world, Citibank.

Gautier has more than 20 years of experience in corporate Operational Resilience and is a recognized expert in crisis management. He supports and accompanies numerous strategic entities operating around the world, enabling them to prepare and respond effectively to critical and extraordinary situations.

Prior to his role at International SOS, Gautier was the lead organizer and general coordinator for the visit of Pope Francis to Geneva and the 40’000 pilgrims Mass. He operated as a Senior Consultant providing strategic risk management advisory services for High Net Worth individuals in high-risk locations (i.e., Ivory Coast, Iraq, Niger, Egypt, Soudan, Mexico). Gautier was the Head of security and strategic information Officer of the Federal Palace in Bern directly advising the Council of Ministers on strategic security matters. He served as a Commanding Officer and Army Instructor in the Swiss armed Forces but also as a Swiss Guard at the Vatican.

Gautier POROT has various active academic mandates where he teaches Operational Resilience and Crisis management, notably at IMD Business School in Lausanne, eMBAX ETHZ|HSG St. Gallen in Zürich and Science Po Paris. Gautier is a Committee member of Working Group 9 of ISO/TC 292 - Crisis Management.

Gautier still holds 2 active reserve military positions: he is ranked as Major (NATO-OF 3) and acts as Chief of Staff & 2iC of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion; and since 2016, Gautier is an OSCE inspector and member of the Swiss Expert Pool.

Tracy Reinhold is CSO at Everbridge. He is responsible for advancing Everbridge’s enterprise-level security strategy, as well as working closely with customers and partners to optimise their organisational approach to managing and responding to critical events. Reinhold has served in executive leadership roles in security and incident management for some of the world’s largest organisations. He worked as a CSO at Fannie Mae, a leader in mortgage financing with more than $3 trillion in assets, and Walmart. Prior to his commercial roles in security, Reinhold served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for twenty-two years.

Jason Dibley is the technical director of QCC Global Ltd, the largest global TSCM provider, serving large commercial and government entities with offices in the UK and Singapore. QCC also provides Physical Penetration Services, Digital Forensics, Accredited Training and produces specialist TSCM systems and products in use by government worldwide.

He has been active in countering espionage operations for the last 20 years and constantly evolves new procedures and solutions for emerging surveillance threats. Previously Jason spent 20 years as a covert surveillance engineer with New Scotland Yard working on many operations alongside numerous global security services and military units.

He is security cleared and is a founder member of the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Institute (TSCMi) and an advisory board member of the ERiI (Espionage Research Institute International) both bodies of excellence within the TSCM industry.
