Whit Mason edited newspapers in Novosibirsk and Vladivostok in the early 90s and worked as a journalist and analyst based in Hong Kong, Sarajevo, Seoul and Istanbul. Since 2001 he has worked as a strategist and advisor for governments, militaries and the UN in Kosovo, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Australia, North Macedonia, Indonesia, Moldova, and the Baltics. In 2014 he founded Mason Change Communications to support the government of Ukraine, and MCC now provides insights and delivers change communications in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia and North America. Whit has done postgraduate studies in international relations in England, law in Australia and philosophy, theology and religion in Switzerland. He is a Deployable Civilian Expert for HMG, a Life Fellow of the Institute of Current World Affairs in Washington and an Associate Fellow of RUSI.
