Sonia Neffati is Mastercard’s European Regional Security Officer, based in Waterloo, Belgium. She focuses on strengthening external cybersecurity partnerships, leading Central Bank resiliency efforts, and supporting the ECRC’s mission. Previously, Sonia served as Mastercard’s European Crisis Manager, overseeing some of the company’s most complex crisis responses. She brings deep expertise in business continuity, IT disaster recovery, and crisis management across the payments and financial sectors. Sonia holds a master’s degree in Marketing & International Business Negotiation and multiple certifications in business continuity and security.
