Founder and CEO, SEVEN
Landry RICHARD is the founder and CEO of SEVEN, a security engineering company dedicated to major international events.
After being a member of the scientific council of the “Behaviour Chair” aimed at studying the dynamics of human behavior in industry and their influence on societal and environmental safety and security, he joined the Olympic and Paralympics Games Security Direction of Paris 2024 as operational director.
Firefighter officer for more than 20 years, he is also an officer under contract with the French military police (Gendarmerie Nationale). It was after having managed security for the ArcelorMittal group for 3 years that he began research work with the University of Lorraine within the Behavioral Psychology Laboratory with the Crisis Management Chair at the UTT in Troyes. He then worked as a security engineer at the Financial Markets Authority as part of the implementation of group security.
Author of several books specializing in security issues, he holds an MBA security management from AMGN and Paris II Panthéon Assas.
Founding president of the NGO FIRE (French International Rescue Experts), he has led numerous international relief operations (Nepal, Ecuador, Haiti, Ukraine, Turkey, Morocco).
