Vice President, Global Security & Risk, Standard Industries
Gladis joined Standard Industries in February 2024 as Vice President of Global Security & Risk based out of New York City, New York. Her primary focus is to manage the implementation and execution of global policies and procedures to ensure a risk-based approach to security initiatives. She also partners with Standard’s various operating companies to ensure security measures are implemented consistently across all organizations.

Prior to her current role, Gladis served as Vice President of Corporate Security for the Americas at Swiss Re and, before that, was responsible for North America Regional Security at Reckitt and BASF. She entered the security world in 2015 after developing extensive experience in other corporate governance functions such as legal and internal audit. Gladis is passionate about diversity and inclusion and serves as both an informal and formal mentor through ASIS, OSAC Women in Security, Girl Security, etc.

Gladis holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and, most recently, a Certified Protection Professional.
