Erwin has been a dedicated volunteer leader within ASIS International and has been a member for over 6+ years. He served in various impactful roles within the association on a local and global level, including Young Professionals Board Member and Certification Programs Board Member at his local chapter (Benelux Chapter 214), on a global level he joined the NextGen Community (formerly known as Young Professionals) as Secretary, Vice-Chair and later became Chair of the NextGen Community. Currently he is the Community Vice President for the Crime Prevention and Investigations Communities in which he supports these communities to grow and reach their goals. 

Alongside his volunteer work, Erwin is a seasoned security professional with over half a decade of experience in the security field. He currently leads security operations across the BeNeLux region at SAP SE, overseeing complex challenges and driving strategic initiatives to effectively safeguard SAP's employees, facilities, assets, intellectual property, and corporate reputation.
