Botan Osman is the co-founder and CEO of Restrata, a software company that provides innovative solutions for safety, security, and emergency management.

Botan has more than 20 years of experience in the software and security sector. He has led Restrata's growth and expansion since 2017, delivering its cutting-edge platform resilienceOS alongside global prepare & respond services to clients across various industries and regions.

Prior to Restrata he led digital transformation programs across several governments and organizations, establishing public digital services, national identity solutions and infrastructure during which he worked on projects alongside Microsoft, Google, IBM, PwC, Cisco, and others.

Botan holds a BEng in Software Engineering from Manchester University and has completed executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, National Defense University, and the UK Defence Academy.
