Alex is a security and resilience leader with more than 15 years of experience driving global programmes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He currently supports security initiatives for EY across EMEA, and is the Founder of Delphi Risk Solutions, a UK-based consultancy specialising in integrated risk management, executive protection, and resilience-as-a-service. Previously, Alex served as Vice President, Resilience, Safety & Security at BlackRock, where he oversaw security operations in 29 countries. He also led travel security operations for Meta and held earlier roles at Anvil Group, Ambrey, and the Hellenic Armed Forces. These positions gave him extensive expertise in corporate security leadership, operational resilience, and crisis management at scale. He holds a Master’s in International Security from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s from the Hellenic Military Academy. He is also a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and CompTIA Security+ certified, bringing both academic and technical credibility to his practice. Alex’s work today focuses on the convergence of artificial intelligence, physical security, and enterprise risk. He develops frameworks that leverage predictive analytics, AI-powered surveillance, and hybrid threat modelling to transform traditional, manpower-heavy security models into leaner, analytics-driven, and strategically embedded functions. Fluent in Greek, English, Italian, and Spanish, Alex contributes regularly to international media and professional networks on security, geopolitics, and emerging technologies. His career reflects a consistent commitment to innovation, strategic foresight, and positioning security as a business-critical partner.
