11 Feb Continuing the ASIS Europe Responsible Exhibit Label in 2025

Events play a vital role in driving industries forward, but their environmental impact cannot be ignored. ASIS Europe has been actively working to reduce its ecological footprint, and we invite all event stakeholders to join us in this ongoing effort.

As part of this commitment, we are continuing the ASIS Europe Responsible Exhibit label in 2025 following its introduction last year in Vienna. Exhibitors can earn this designation by pledging to:

• Avoid single-use plastics throughout the event.
• Compensate the carbon emissions from staff travel to the show through a carbon offset programme.

Offsetting emissions is simpler and more affordable than many think! For just €12–36, you can compensate for a trip. ASIS Europe has partnered with the local NGO Vita Impact to provide an offset solution for attendees, available directly in the exhibit staff registration form. If you prefer to donate directly and obtain a certificate, you can contact Vita Impact.

You’re also welcome to use another verified carbon offset programme. Additionally, some hotels offer their own offset options for guests—just ask them!

We also encourage exhibitors to take additional steps, such as:

• Reducing or eliminating paper usage.
• Rethinking giveaways to prioritise sustainability.
• Using LED lighting and energy-efficient equipment.
• Implementing waste separation at their booth.
• Choosing public transport or walking when possible.
