ASIS International is excited to announce the appointment of Sam Roper as Conference Co‑Chair for ASIS Europe 2027, joining Lee Pokorski to shape the programme for next year’s event in Liverpool on 3-5 March.

Sam is an experienced security leader with over 15 years of international expertise across the technology, entertainment, and consulting sectors.

At ASIS Europe 2026, our workshop Beyond Compliance: Defining Security Competence for the AI-Driven Future was designed to move the conversation on AI beyond regulation alone and into the practical realities of leadership, judgment, and operational decision-making.

ASIS Europe 2026 took place in Antwerp from 23–25 March, for the second consecutive year bringing together more than 1,000 security leaders and risk professionals from over 50 countries. The word of the day is #polycrisis.
